Project Overview

Introduction

Coey’s Closet needed a structured workflow to manage its expanding online presence across multiple brands — including Swanky Tee’s and Coey Technologies. Using the modular framework of my original Content Strategy Workspace, I customized a 3-database Notion system tailored to their needs. The workspace allows staff to create optimized product listings, article content, and social media posts within a single, streamlined environment.

Process

Because I had already developed the websites and online stores for Coey’s Closet and its sister brands, I understood their content patterns and gaps. I designed three databases — Products, Articles, and Social Channels — each with AI-assisted templates to guide users through optimized creation workflows.

  • Product Database: Includes company-specific templates for Coey’s Closet, Swanky Tee’s, and Coey Technologies, complete with SEO fields, title/meta generation prompts, and HTML-ready descriptions.

  • Article Database: Provides a guided process for developing content from idea to publish-ready article, integrating keyword and audience alignment.

  • Social Channel Database: Offers templates for Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more — each structured with “Key Elements” and AI prompts for captions, hashtags, and visuals.

To support staff, I also built supplementary modules:

  • SEO Basics Notebook: A mini-guide explaining SEO and keyword strategy.

  • Keyword Database: Organized by company for cross-referencing optimization terms.

  • Audience Profiling Tool: Adapted from my Content Strategy Workspace to define marketing personas.

Finally, I configured Notion views so management could monitor progress (In Progress, Completed, By Company) at a glance.

Outcome

The finished system gives Coey’s Closet a unified digital workspace where content creation and optimization are both simplified and measurable. Staff can now produce consistent, fully optimized listings and posts, while leadership benefits from transparency and oversight. The clean Notion layout — with quick-access links, database summaries, and embedded training — creates an intuitive, scalable tool for their ongoing marketing and content strategy.
