Hey there, I’m Chris Eitel, the brains and heart behind CoencE. With a journey that spans two decades in the ever-evolving world of web development, SEO, and social media marketing, I’m here to share my passion for technology and help you bring your digital dreams to life.

My adventure in the realm of web design kicked off way back in 1999, and I’ve been hooked ever since. But life had other plans for me, and I temporarily veered into the world of IT, working with a prominent Chicagoland bank. Fast forward a bit, and I took the leap to become a stay-at-home dad. It was during this time that I found my way back to designing websites, discovering the exciting worlds of SEO and social media marketing along the way.

I’ve had the privilege of working with a slew of local businesses, especially smaller ones with limited resources. These are the unsung heroes who often can’t afford in-house web development or a hefty SEO budget. It’s my mission to provide them with top-notch services that help them thrive in the digital landscape.

Speaking of digital landscapes, I’m a staunch advocate for securing home networks. In an era of smart fridges and microwaves, it’s become more critical than ever to protect your digital assets. I’ve been preaching the gospel of VLANs to friends and family, urging them to separate their networks. And don’t get me started on using your phone number as a password – it’s a big no-no in my book!

When I’m not diving into the digital world, I’m busy being a dad to two wonderful kids. And in my spare time, I’m all about DIY projects around the house. In fact, I’ve created a blog, The Home Concierge, over at homeconcierge.io, where I share my tips and tricks for turning non-DIYers into DIY champs.
